Star rows are osmium bars consisting of three individual osmium stars which are connected by a thin bridge. By cutting / breaking the bridge, star rows can be divided up into individual osmium small edged bars (stars), similar to dividing up gold or other precious metal bars into individual segments.
Star rows are suitable for investment because they may be sold as star rows or individual small edged bars. In the latter case, the certificate of the star row is voided and three individual certificates (one certificate per star) are issued.
